Alive Please is a check-in reminder app. This Privacy Policy explains how Alive Please handles information entered or generated in the app.

Information We Handle

Alive Please may store the following information on your device:

• Your display name
• The trusted contact email address you provide
• The recipient title or greeting used in notification emails
• Check-in dates and check-in status
• Reminder intervals, quiet hours, care reminder settings, and other app preferences
• Webhook URL and recent execution logs

How We Use Information

This information is used only to provide Alive Please features, including:

• Recording whether you completed a daily check-in
• Showing total check-in days and current streak
• Scheduling local notifications that remind you to check in
• Sending an email to your trusted contact when you have not checked in for the period you configured
• Providing test email and execution log features so you can confirm your notification settings

Where Information Is Stored

Check-in data and most settings are primarily stored locally on your device. Alive Please does not upload your local check-in history to our own database.

Email and Webhooks

If you configure a trusted contact email and enable notification features, Alive Please sends the information needed to deliver the notification through an HTTPS webhook. This may include the recipient email address, email subject, and email body.

This information is used only to send the trusted contact notification or a test email requested by you. If you enter your own custom webhook URL, the handling of data by that service is governed by the service or system you choose.

Sharing of Information

Alive Please does not sell your personal information and does not use your information for advertising tracking. When an email notification is sent, the information required to send that email is transmitted to the email delivery service to complete the notification you requested.

Deleting Information

You can delete locally stored Alive Please data by using Android system settings to clear the app's storage or app data. You can also edit or remove your trusted contact email, webhook URL, and related settings inside the app.

Permissions

Alive Please may use the following Android permissions:

• Notifications: to show check-in reminders, care reminders, and trusted contact notification status.
• Receive boot completed: to restore reminder schedules after your device restarts.
• Internet: to send trusted contact notifications or test emails through a webhook.

Important Notice

Alive Please is not a medical, emergency, rescue, security, or location tracking service. If you or someone near you is in immediate danger, contact local emergency services or a trusted person immediately.
